26 Jun List of new projects selected for funding (October 2023 – June 2024)
Twenty one new projects were signed since October 2023. A majority were selected following a call for proposals for South-East Asia last summer.
We also supported the development of a national strategy for the conservation of threatened tree species in Colombia and issued a specific call for this country that is being processed.
In parallel existing beneficiaries of the Foundation who achieved good results applied for follow-up projects to consolidate and, in some cases, to expand their impact. Among these projects is the renewal of our support to BGCI for the Global Tree Assessment and the IUCN/SSC Global Tree Special Group.
